Life Development Classes
These four classes are the foundation and building blocks for the Christian faith. All four classes are taught in small groups of 4-6 people at 9:30 A.M. on Sunday mornings. See below for a description of each class.

Class 101: Membership
This class is designed for two groups of people.
The class covers the RBC Purpose Statement, Mission, Core Values, and the Five Purposes of a New Testament church. Sign up if you are a new member at Riverview or just want to get a deeper look at who we are as a church.

Class 201: Maturity
This class is for members of Riverview Baptist Church who have already completed Membership 101 Class.
Topics covered in 201 will include the four basic habits every Christian needs to develop:

a daily quiet time with God,
-
a daily prayer time with God,
-
becoming a good financial steward of the resources God gives to us,
-
having fellowship (connecting) with other believers
The class teaches you how to develop these practical habits.
It will encourage believers in the next step of their Life Development Process.

Class 301: Ministry
This class is for Riverview Baptist Church members who have completed the 101 and 201 Classes.
The purpose of Ministry 301 is to help believers discover their unique S.H.A.P.E. for ministry.

- P - Personality
- E - Experiences
The goal of Ministry 301 Class is to assist Riverview members in using their God-given gifts and abilities for serving God, their church family, and their community.

Class 401: Mission
This class is for Riverview Baptist Church members who have completed the 101-301 classes.
This class is dedicated to helping Riverview members discover and realize their place in the world and in local missions.
The challenge is for every member to take some kind of short term mission trip to share their faith through words and action.
The 401 Class and short-term mission trip will help every believer develop a world-missions perspective.
