Riverview Academy-Doctrines of Grace

Sunday Evenings, beginning March 14
Christians would agree that the gospel of Jesus Christ is all about grace, but do they fully understand why it’s so amazing?
In this introductory study, Pastor Dave will explore five historic doctrines: radical depravity, unconditional election, particular redemption, effectual grace, and preserving grace. Together they will help the believer come to a deeper understanding and appreciation of what’s so amazing about the grace of God. Sign up here.

Facebook Page

Praying and Walking Together
This women's page on Facebook is a place to share prayer requests, praise reports, and other items of interest and encouragement to our church family.
Due to the personal nature of what is shared, this is a private Facebook group for women who consider Riverview their church home.

Discovery Class

April 18, following the service
Take the next step toward becoming a partner in the mission of Riverview Church. Our Discovery Class will introduce you to our identity as a church, what we can expect from one another, and how you can partner with what God is doing in and through us. This class begins immediately following the service and lasts around three hours. Lunch and childcare are provided. Registration for this class will begin soon.

Featured Resource

The Gathering Storm
Albert Mohler Jr. believes a battle of ideas is coming that will determine the future of Western civilization—and the soul of the Christian church. Addressing issues of sexuality, marriage, abortion, and religious liberty, the president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary encourages you to meet the challenges of secularism with hope, confidence, conviction, and the gospel of Jesus. Copies of this book are available in the Resource Center.

Bible Study

Thursdays, 10 AM
All Riverview ladies are invited to participate in a study of the Sermon on the Mount, beginning Thursday, February 25. Plan to dig into God's Word and get to know each other better as we study together for the next nine weeks. You will need a copy of Sermon on the Mount by Jen Wilkin, to participate in the study. At Riverview, small groups are integral to our goal of glorifying God by developing mature followers of Jesus Christ through the power of his Word. We aren’t a church that happens to have small groups; we are a small-group-driven church that prioritizes the community that small groups foster. Our corporate time of worship on Sunday is essential, but often deeper growth takes place in the context of life-on-life relationships. Our small groups are a place to serve, to grow, and to build meaningful friendships around the Word. Click here to find a small group that works for you.
