The Audio & Visual team is responsible for the set-up,
monitoring, and adjustment of the Worship Center audio and visual equipment. Members of this team focus attention and remove distractions by crafting a balanced audio mix, recording sermon audio, controlling livestream cameras, and progressing on-stage media and lighting.
Commitment: Every other month
The Buildings & Grounds team keeps the facilities functioning properly. Members of this team offer solutions to equipment needing repair, update dysfunctional appliances, and maintain current systems to ensure longevity and performance.
Commitment: Occasional; as needed
The Care & Encouragement team seeks to provide personalized attention and love to individuals. Members of this team craft homemade cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and other life events. Team members also prepare and send out college care packages.
Commitment: Occasional; as needed
Centershot is a youth archery outreach program that seeks to engage our community with the Gospel of Jesus. Members of this team help teach kids archery skills, facilitate archery events, and cultivate gospel conversations.
Commitment: Weekly; in season
Childcare is offered during Sunday morning services for young kids to best learn the Bible at their level. Members of this team teach the Bible through a set curriculum, engage young souls with the gospel in creative ways, and administrate snacks and games. Volunteers must complete a background check prior to serving with kids.
Commitment: One month per year
The Events & Hospitality team is responsible for preparing and planning meals for church events. Members of this team coordinate with event leaders to provide food arrangements, help administrate during events, and serve by setting up before and after.
Commitment: Approximately twice per month
he Nursery offers parents with infants the ability to receive spiritual refreshment while allowing their children to receive the care they need. Members of this team shepherd and care for our littlest ones during Sunday morning service.
Commitment: Every other month
The Nursing Home team seeks to minister, encourage, and love
the elderly at our local nursing home facility. Members of this team participate in the monthly worship service offered after church, minister to residents through conversation and prayer, and cultivate gospel opportunities.
Commitment: Once a month
The Safety team is responsible for keeping the facilities safe and secure. Members of this team unlock and lock entry points, ensure emergency equipment is operative, and patrol the hallways during service.
Commitment: Twice a month
The Welcome team joyfully welcomes worshippers into the church of God. Members of this team show up early, warmly welcome everyone, and assist those looking for more information about Riverview.
Commitment: Twice a month
The Worship Band leads the gathered church to see and savor Jesus Christ through music. Members of this team are expected to skillfully play an instrument or sing, practice at home during weeks scheduled, and participate in weekly Sunday morning rehearsals and quarterly workshops.
Commitment: Approximately twice per month
